THE Corregedoria of the Chamber of Deputies recommended This Friday (19) suspension of the terms of three deputies and the application of written censorship to 14 opposition parliamentarians what participated in the riot in the House Plenaryat the beginning of last month.
At the end of the analysis of open representations against parliamentarians, the corregedor of the house, Deputy Diego Coronel (PSD-BA), suggested to the House Ethics Council to Suspension of Deputy Marcos Pollon (PL-MS) for 90 days and deputies Marcel Van Hattem (Novo-RS) and Zé Trovão (PL-SC) for 30 days.
All are accused of obstructing the chair of the presidency.
Pollon is also the target of another suspension request for 30 days, totaling 120 days. The deputy was accused of making defamatory statements against the presidency of the house.

The corregedor also defended the Application of the sentence of censorship written to deputies Allan Garcês (PP-MA), Bia Kicis (PL-DF), Carlos Jordy (PL-RJ), Caroline de Toni (PL-SC), Domingos Sávio (PL-MG), Julia Zanatta (PL-SC), Nikolas Ferreira (PL-MG), Paulo Bilnskyj (PL-SP), Marco Feliciano (PL-SP), Sostenes Cavalcante (PL-RJ) and Zucco (PL-RS), as well as Pollon, Van Hattem and Zé Trovão.
According to Diego Colonel, the punishment requests occurred from the analysis of the internal images of the House and based on the arguments of parliamentarians’ defenses.
“The role of Corregedoria is institutional. We act impartially, we analyze each conduct individually and fulfill our commitment to agility, delivering our report after 22 business days of the representation, ie half of the deadline. Now it is up to the table to decide on the recommendations presented,” said the corregedor.
According to the internal rules of the House, the requests for suspension of mandates will be analyzed by the Ethics Council and the Plenary. THE Application of written censorship will be evaluated by the board of directors of the house.

Riot
On August 5, Senators and opposition deputies occupied the directors of the Senate plenary and the House of Representatives To protest against the house arrest of former President Jair Bolsonaro, who had been decreed the day before by the Supreme Court Minister (STF), Alexandre de Moraes.

The senators and deputies stayed overnight, making legislative work unfeasible. They also required the proposals of general and unrestricted amnesty to those convicted of attempted coup in the trial of the coup plot and the impeachment of Moraes.
Government support base parliamentarians repudiated the act, classified as “blackmail”.
On August 6, around 10:30 pm, Hugo Motta opened the plenary session after a long period of obstruction by the opposition parliamentarians. Motta criticized the action of the deputies and said that the demonstrations have to obey the regiment of the house.
