The Chamber of Deputies approved, this Wednesday (8), a bill that creates the seal “Empresa Amiga da Mulher”, to be granted to companies that adopt minimum percentages for hiring women victims of domestic violence.
The project, by former deputy Rosa Neide (PT-MT), sets the minimum validity of the seal at two years, and can be renewed continuously for the same period as long as the company proves the maintenance of legal criteria and regulation.
The norm also defines criteria and procedures for granting, renewing and losing the seal, as well as its use and disclosure.
The approved text is the substitute presented by the deputy Erika Kokay (PT-DF) to Bill 3792/19. Now, the text is sent to the Federal Senate for analysis.
