It was not easy for her to get rid of her hair and she was even about to withdraw: “Boys, I’m leaving the Challenge, I can’t cut my hair. I have a sister who has cancer and I was going to donate it to her one day and she told me no, I didn’t do it for her, I’m not going to do it for the Challenge,” she said.
“My work depends on my physical appearance and that includes my hair,” added Maleja, who also works as a model.

Then, Maleja was filled with feeling and finally agreed to cut her hair to give it to her sister:
«I love you little sister, I was on the street, taking drugs many years ago and today I am here wanting to be an example for the youth of Colombia, for my family. This is for you, baby. I will be very happy when I see you with my hair », expressed Maleja while they cut her hair.
Finally, his new look liked him and so did his followers.
