Petrobras informs that it received on Wednesday (20), the request for immediate resignation, from the chairman of the board of directors, Pietro Adamo Sampaio Mendes, due to new professional challenges.
Mendes was nominated by the Presidency of the Republic to occupy the board of the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP).
The nomination was approved by the Federal Senate and the appointment made by the President of the Republic, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.
