Ombudsman offices of 173 federal public bodies, such as ministries, universities, hospitals, state-owned companies and government agencies, registered 571 reports and complaints of sexual harassment this year. 
The number is on the panel “Did you solve it?”from the Comptroller General of the Union (CGU). More than 97% of the manifestations are complaints, and 2.5%, complaints.
The list is compiled by the Federal University of Rondônia (32 records), the Ministry of Health (23), the Federal University of Pernambuco (20) and the CGU itself (20).
The list continues with complaints originating from the Hospital Complex of the Federal University of Paraná and the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, each with 11 cases. The Federal University of Rio de Janeiro has ten occurrences. The Federal University of Ceará and the Ministry of Women, nine records each.
The Air Force Command, the Federal University of Pará and the University of Brasília, with eight occurrences each, make up the list of institutions with the most reports and complaints.
Around 60% of the records on the CGU dashboard identify the type of complaint. The majority are of “conduct of a sexual nature”. In August, there was an increase in records, with 122 cases or 21% of the occurrences recorded by the ombudsman offices of federal public agencies.
There is little information about the complainants and complainants. Three-quarters did not report their location or race. Among the 88 people who identified their gender, 66 were women (75%) and 22 were men. You can access the panel here.
On Friday night (6), President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva fired the Minister of Human Rights and Citizenship (MDH), Silvio Almeida, after allegations of sexual harassment. There are, to date, no allegations or complaints of sexual harassment at the MDH registered on the “Resolved?” panel of the Comptroller General of the Union.
