The Comptroller General of the Republic (CGR), Loving Elvis, delivered a Floral Offering at the Mausoleum of El Libertador, Simón Bolívar, located in the facilities of the National Pantheon, in Caracas, in order to commemorate the 84th anniversary of the highest comptroller body.
Amoroso was in the company of the deputy comptroller general of the Republic, Col. Jhosnel Peraza; the comptroller general of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), M/G Isidro José Lugo Becerrit, representatives of the Public Ministry (MP), prosecutors and magistrates of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ).
The act began with the entrance of the authorities of the national government to the sacred precinct, continuously, the intonation of the glorious notes of the National Anthem and the words of the comptroller general, culminating with the signing of the act in front of the remains of El Libertador.
The highest representative of the CGR expressed: “It fills my soul to walk today in front of the remains of our heroes, the historical place where our Liberator and Father of the Nation, Simón Bolívar, rests, a visionary thinker who already in his time, in his well-known Angostura Speech, made mention of concepts such as the Constitution, Comptrollership and Moral Power, we should feel proud to celebrate our anniversary in this place”.
