“For the Bank of Mexico we estimate a cut of 25 basis points in the funding rate, although we do not rule out that some member could lean towards a cut of 50 basis points,” Intercam highlighted in a report.
With that decision on the part of the central bank, double-digit yield rates are expected to come to an end. However, Cetes remain one of the safest options to invest in because inflation in November was 4.55%.
