The Minister of Health, César Vásquez, questioned the veracity of the audios disseminated by Sunday in which the now Minister of Justice allegedly, Juan José SantiváñezI asked Eduardo Arana, today Premier, to change from pavilion to plundering linked to ‘the octopuses’.
According to the head of the Minsa, artificial intelligence may have intervened in the incriminating audios, so he requested security in their originality.
“What Peruvians have to do is let each institution, that the court, do their job, investigate. The audios now, with AI, one has to be, first, sure that they are original. I believe that we are exposed to any falsification. In any case, objective research is what we expect,” he said.
According to him, he has seen publications that have made him believe that they were some people but that “in the end they inform me that it was artificial intelligence.”
“I do not want to deny the veracity or not of those audios, I am not a specialist in the subject and I think that the people involved are the ones who will have to clarify whether it is their voice or not. What I want, like any citizen […]is that things are well investigated, that they let the investigations advance, that these are done objectively and that the results are known later, “he said.
“The audios have been under investigation for several months. The Premier himself has declared about that and, finally, if he is under investigation and are declaring those involved, I think we have to let the investigations advance. The only thing we ask for is that they are done objectively, without media pollution,” he added.

The recording would show how Santiváñez would have asked Arana to intercede in the penitentiary system in favor of Miguel Marcelo Outrosas, aka ‘El Diablo’, an plundering condemned for integrating the criminal organization ‘the octopuses’.
