César Fernández dice “encuestas reflejan población rechaza reelección”

César Fernández says “polls reflect population rejects re-election”

Santo Domingo-. The national secretary of propaganda of the People’s Force, César Fernández, affirmed that all the serious polls that have been published in the country in recent weeks reflect a resounding rejection of the government’s re-election and give the president of the People’s Force as the favorite. Leonel Fernandez.

The political leader pointed out that, as can be seen, the government has accelerated the conduct of surveys, which reveals an evident desperation to project an image different from the one perceived by the Dominican people and citizens in general.

“As you can believe in a survey carried out through social networks, when internet penetration in the country is 67%, second, Facebook users are a part of the population, and Twitter is not even said, then, how can a parameter be established to measure things as serious as the social and economic issues of a country based on this type of study; There is no clear sample of which localities were included in that sample, nor which people were surveyed, ”she pointed out.

“In a country where 70 percent of the population says that the situation is bad, and 65 percent that their personal situation worsens every day, then, how can it be explained that these same people answer in a survey that the current government has a positioning that exceeds 50 percent; that is not normal, and at a glance it can be evidenced that the sole objective of these surveys seeks to benefit someone in particular, Fernández indicated.

The also member of the Political Directorate of the FP, said that the Dominican is busy in seeing how he gets his daily food, in not being assaulted in the streets, and recovering his jobs that have lost about 700 thousand jobs in the country. “This country has a serious problem of management, who runs the government does not know how to manage, and much less its officials, with rare exceptions,” he said.

Failure in other areas

Fernandez asserted that if the other areas of the national productive apparatus are evaluated, a total failure is obviously observed. “Just to cite an example, in 2021, we broke the food import record with 4 billion dollars and by 2022 there are 32,000 less crops planted with rice, cassava, potatoes, beans, etc., so the government failed the country in the management of the agricultural part”.

He went on to say that as a result of this lack of management, today a pound of chicken costs close to one hundred pesos and other products from the basic basket do not appear. These statements were offered in the Morning Summary program, when interviewed by Persio Maldonado, Laura Castellano and Alberto Caminero.
