"César El Abusador" bribed RD Police and officials to avoid arrest

Santo Domingo.-The ringleader of the criminal network of drug trafficking, César Emilio Peralta Adames (César El Abusador), used part of the millions of dollars obtained from drug trafficking to bribe corrupt members of the National Police, the armed forces and civil officials to avoid their arrest, judicial processes and seizures of narcotics, according to the act of accusation against which the day was obtained.

According to the investigation of the federal authorities, the criminal structure operated in the Dominican Republic from 1997 to 2019, the year in which its criminal network was dismantled.

César “El Abusador”, leader of the organization, received large cargoes of cocaine from Colombia and Venezuela that were received in the Dominican Republic and, subsequently, sent to Puerto Rico, the United States and Europe.

Also, together with its associates, it coordinated large -scale money laundering operations, through which it returned the illicit profits to the Dominican Republic and Colombia.

Those involved in the criminal network stored the drug for distribution in different parts of the country, according to the investigations made by the authorities, which interviewed several defendants.

Synthetic drugs
The members of the drug trafficking organization manufactured, transported and sold the drug illegally. Part of the profits obtained were invested in chemicals and employees for the production of methamphetamines.

Federal Informant
One of the informants of the federal authorities, identified as CS-3, declared that he supplied cocaine to “César el Abusador” between 2009 and 2010. The shipments varied between 150 and 34 kilos of cocaine at the end of 2010.

Peralta even offered the informant the use of air routes for drug trafficking from the Dominican Republic to New York. This collaborator is in federal prison for violating his probation, after declaring himself guilty of drug trafficking charges in 2012.

Between 2007 and June 2017, César the abuser conspired with other people to import cocaine to the United States using operations in the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Colombia and the Dutch Antilles.

Procedures

—1— extradition
On December 22, 2021, César Emilio Peralta (César El Abusador) was extradited from Colombia to Puerto Rico.
—2— Pesquisa
He fled to Colombia at the end of 2019 when he realized that in Dominican there was an investigation against.
—3— Executions
After the inquiries, the Dominican authorities executed raids and arrests to dismantle network.

Federal Court will say whether or not to host the agreement
Justice. The Federal Court of Puerto Rico will decide on October 23 whether or not it welcomes the guilty agreement signed between the Prosecutor’s Office and the defendant, who admitted to having trafficked large drug loads from the Dominican Republic to Puerto Rico.

While César Emilio Peralta Adames (César the abuser) is in the Bayamón prison, Puerto Rico, waiting for the ruling. Several members of their structure were subjected to Dominican justice.
