César Acuña Peralta, leader of Alliance for Progress and elected regional governor of La Libertad pointed out that the votes of the congressmen of his party are for the vacancybut 87 is needed, but he indicated that many parliamentarians think more about their salary than in the country, they got used to their seat in Congress.
“To vacate the president we need 87 votes, getting to that point is very difficult. We hope that the congressmen reflect and make the best decision to save the country. There are congressmen who got used to Congress and more than thinking about the country, they think about their salary, that is the real thing, if I were a congressman, the vacancy would come first. The 130 have the great responsibility of saving the country”, he told URPI of La República.
Acuña indicated that he is not afraid of government reprisals that may occur during his tenure as governor of La Libertad, after promoting with the APP bench the vacancy.
“First of all, the region is the country, besides the budgets are established by law, the Regional Government is enough to do a good deed”.
When asked if you agree with the early elections and the Executive and Legislative leave, the leader of Alianza Para El Progreso explained, “I am in favor of doing the best for the country, from Trujillo I ask for reflection, it must be understood that the country is in the hands of the Congress of the Republic ”.
Cesar Acuña met with the current regional governor, Manuel Llempen Coronel, to find out what projects are left for 2023 and argued that they will continue with the pending steps and that the axes to be reinforced are based on education, health and agriculture.
