The spokeswoman for the Presidency, Gabriela Cerruti, stated that “Argentina defends a path of growth” in the negotiation with the International Monetary Fund and, in this framework, said that the Government “will defend the rights of workers and retirees”at his usual press conference on Thursdays at the Casa Rosada.
Cerruti pointed out that the Government “works with the hypothesis of solving a huge problem that Mauricio Macri left”, referring to the debt he took with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
In addition, Cerruti said that the national government “does not take a position on the marches organized by the social sectors”, when asked about the protest against the Supreme Court that will take place on February 1, however, she reiterated that President Alberto Fernández is “in favor of a reform of the Judiciary.”
