The congressman from the bench of Free Peru Waldemar Cerron assured that his parliamentary group will not support the third vacancy motion against the President of the Republic, peter castle, which has been driving the opposition. This because of “destabilizes democracy”.
“We are not an official party, but we are not going to make loads of an issue that destabilizes democracy either, because what is the reason why they are presenting these vacancy motions? There will always be an excuse, and those excuses are not good for the country or for democracy,” said the parliamentarian.
Regarding this issue, the initiative already has the support of 66 congressmen. The last adhesions were of the parliamentarians Maria Acuna Y Magaly Ruizboth from the Alliance for Progress; Silvia Monteza Y Wilson Soto, of Popular Action; Hitler Saavedra, of Somos Peru, and Miguel Cicia, of People’s Renewal.
It should be noted that the only bench that signed the vacancy motion in its entirety was Popular Force (24). In the case of People’s Renewal, its nine legislators have already done so. The situation is the same in Country advances (8) and Alliance for Progress (9).
Brother of Vladimir Cerrón denies that he has received payments from the DINI
