Cerro lets the victory slip against General in the last ball

This Friday, Cerro Porteño was unable to sustain the advantage it gained and tied 1-1 with General Caballero JLM for date 8 of the Closing Tournament. El Rojo equalized on the last play of the match in Ciudad del Este.

In a match with an even process and without a clear dominator, it was Cerro who managed to make the first difference thanks to a goal from Carlos Rolón, who put the Barça team ahead in the 39th minute.

El Ciclón, once leader of the championship with full points, remained with the minimum score in their favor for a long passage, so they seemed to have controlled the result and the obtaining of points in the Antonio Aranda Encina stadium, where Rojo of Juan León Mallorquín officiated as local.
