Rosario Central (4 points) achieved an agonizing 2-2 equality against Tigre (4) in the last play of an attractive match, which made up one of the previews of the second date of the Professional League (LPF) tournament.

At the José Dellagiovanna stadium of the Victoria club, the visiting team established the final parity through a header from the Uruguayan Facundo Mallowhen the sixth minute of added time was played.

Tigre, who had just beaten Estudiantes in La Plata (2-1) in his debut in the tournament, sustained the victory with goals from Mateo Retegui (Pt. 16m.) and Facundo Colidio (St. 6m.) plus saves of his goalkeeper, Gonzalo Marinelli.

Central, who beat Argentinos Juniors 1-0 in the first match of the tournament, had taken the initial advantage through Juan Cruz Komar (Pt. 14m.), in another set piece maneuver.

The match began in favor of the ‘Matador’ who, In the first five minutes, he had already created three goal chances for him to an overflowing ‘scoundrel’ cast.

With a Menossi determined to be the protagonist from the driving, Diego Martínez’s team insinuated itself better at the start. The soccer partnership with Colidio from Santa Fe promised to pay dividends but…

As usually happens in this discipline, when a team is playing better, the rival appears, takes advantage of a maneuver and takes advantage. This is how it happened at 14m, with a header from Komar, who anticipated Marinelli, and decreed the opening.

Almost immediately, Tigre established parity with a similar formula, only with a ball in motion. It is that Blondel raised a center from the right, the relentless scorer Retegui (10 goals in the last 9 games) applied the brake before the bad start of Servio and the equality was consummated 1-1.

The local team continued better after those 45m. initials, but could not unbalance due to some interventions by the visiting goalkeeper or due to the lack of efficiency in the final meters.

Then, at the beginning of the second period, Victoria’s team reached the gap, at 6m, when Menossi executed a free kick, the goalkeeper Servio granted a long rebound and Colidio appeared to attack and touch the goal. The maneuver was overshadowed by an apparent prohibited position by Retegui. But the VAR verified that it did not affect the connection of the former Inter Italian player, so the 2-1 was confirmed.

So it was that the coach Russo decided to change the tactical scheme and went on to defend with a line of four to free Malcorra, who went to the left wing to worry about that lane.

The former Unión de Santa Fe and Lanús player was decisive in bringing danger and complicating Marinelliwho became a figure.

However, in the last maneuver of the match, when the sixth minute of added time was being played, the Uruguayan Mallo won in the heights and, despite a protested position by Candia, converted the goal for the final tie for a Central that attacked in the close so you don’t leave empty-handed.
