Central Highway: Unlicensed driver causes accident and leaves 10 injured

The driver Yerson Flores (27) was traveling the La Oroya – Huancayo route with a van from the Sami company, when at kilometer 50,200, in the district of El Rosario Curicaca, he collided with the rear of the van with license plate BAL – 936, which was driven by Miguel Peruano Carrión (50).

The Acolla Highway Police arrived at the scene to assist the injured, who were identified as: Uber Camarena Hilario (48), Brenda Yauri Esquivel (26), Jesus Esquivel Molina, Doris Flores Baldeon (52), Maria Camac Orellana (51), Fredy Ramos Cordova (57), Rocio Paucar Moreno, Mirtha Mendoza Poma (59) and both drivers.

The injured were transferred to the Domingo Olavegoya hospital in Jauja, the driver Yerson Flores (27) who was driving the van with license plate D1Y 961, did not have a driver’s license, so he was arrested for investigations of the case.
