In the gold ring, the subtitles “Central Bank of Brazil” and “1965–2025” appear. The reverse (back) will follow the standard of the second family of the currencies of the type, where the face value of $ 1 appears.
In April, the National Monetary Council (CMN) approved the creation of the commemorative edition The coin of $ 1. At the time, it was announced that the currency will have free circulation in the economy.

In a statement, the BC reported that the commemorative currency is part of the actions promoted by the agency to “celebrate, document, humanize and share its history”.
