The Director General of Customs Tayra Barsallo met in a general assembly with the officials of the entity’s headquarters and announced that the National Economic Council of the MEF approved the payment of the incentive corresponding to the year 2021, which amounts to 3.2 million balboas, and additional the item for the payment of the stamps of the month of October and November 2021.
To make the payment effective, it must be expected that all the corresponding administrative procedures are fulfilled, and he appealed to the calm of the officials while the process lasts, for which he described the work stoppage measure unnecessary.
The customs holder pointed out that the payment of the owed stamps is advanced and that the payment can be finalized next week.
He recalled that the Budget Commission of the National Assembly approved on the night of Wednesday, November 24, the transfer of departure, for an amount of one million 106 thousand 597 balboas to the National Customs Authority with which the payment of the owed stamps will be made to the officials of the entity corresponding to the months of June, July, August and September.
The administration remains committed to executing actions that benefit officials and in turn with the country’s logistics.
