Celta ends up selling Luca de la Torre

The Vigo club and Charlotte FC have reached an agreement for the transfer of midfielder, Luca de la Torre

He Celtic of Vigo announced this Tuesday its agreement with the Charlotte F.C. for him transfer of midfielder Luca de la Torre (27 years old). The American international joins the ranks of the North Carolina team that competes in Major League Soccer (MLS), after having played on loan last season at San Diego FC, also in the MLS.

“Celta wants to thank the player for the commitment always shown and wish him the best of luck in the new sporting stage he is now undertaking. Thank you, Luca!”, the Vigo club wrote along with the news.

The one from San Diego arrived in Balaídos in the summer of 2022 from Heracles Almelo of the Eredivissie (the Dutch league). In total, Luca has played 67 games, in which he has scored only four goals and provided nine assists.
