Cell phone falls on Metro Line 8 tracks and causes power outage

Through his 𝕏 account, the capital official detailed that a cell phone and a bag fell onto the tracks, which caused two three-minute power outages to carry out the necessary maneuvers to remove them and be able to continue with the arrival of trains for the service to users.

In its 8:30 a.m. train progress report, the Metro estimates a five-minute wait on 11 of its lines and a six-minute wait on Line 7.

Line A affected by rains

During the afternoon of Monday, April 29, users of the Line A were affected in service and some had to walk between the tracks after the service was suspended due to water in some parts of the Ignacio Zaragoza road flooded some sections of the line that runs from Pantitlan to La Paz.

Although service was restored on Monday night, on Tuesday morning, users reported delays of up to 20 minutes in the arrival of trains at some stations.

Through social media, users share messages, photos or videos about delays and other incidents that occur in the Metro, such as fires, removal of cars for inspection of trains, among others.
