Celeste Amarilla, national deputy for the PLRA, denounced “ghost” suppliers and state officials who act as accomplices, during the ordinary session last Wednesday.
During his oratory, he accused Gen. Aldo Ozuna, head of the Directorate of War Materials (Dimabel) to hire his wife as a supplier to the State.
However, during the last ordinary session, he denied the accusations alleging that he was carried away by a misleading headline in the printed newspaper La Nación.
“The newspaper La Nación, faithful to its style of misleading headlines to publish even more misleading articles. It is not the first time that in my daze, my tongue goes faster than my brain. I apologize to the lady, to the general. We are in the line of fire. I am not justified in having named her unfairly, but I do want to tell you that it was because I read a newspaper publication. But not even by the way should I read news from that medium, liars like its owners and readers, ”she said.
