On October 12th, Nossa Senhora Aparecida Day, the traditional celebration of the faithful will return to being in person in Aparecida do Norte (SP), after 2 years of pandemic.
The city hall expects more than 2 million visitors and pilgrims to arrive in the city for the celebrations. Preparations have already begun and at the beginning of the novena there are masses every night until the 11th of this month.
This afternoon, starting at 3:30 pm, a motorcade is scheduled. The archdiocese is also promoting a campaign to collect food and hygiene items to be destined for social entities. And from the 8th to the 10th of October, there will be the return of the music festival, with confirmed presences of Daniel, Elba Ramalho, Luiza Possi, among other artists.
