Ceballos: Restrictions on student caravans are to protect young people

Ceballos: Restricciones de caravanas estudiantiles son para proteger a los jóvenes

“Due to the figures of accidents and injuries recorded in the past, as a result of the student caravans, these activities were restricted in several states of the country,” reported the Sector Vice President for Citizen Security and Peace, A/J Remigio Ceballos Ichasowho explained that, through different municipal ordinances, these events are conditioned, with the aim of avoiding any type of negative event that may occur in the national territory.

Through a publication on the social network Twitter, @CeballosIchaso1, the minister highlighted that a previous study was carried out on different events that have occurred from 2018 to 2022, in which six young people were killed, due to a fall and collision of vehicles.

“We have issued an alert in relation to these student caravans; There are some municipalities that have restricted the promotion and performance of these activities, such as the Libertador municipality of the Capital District; as well as Chacao and El Hatillo from the state of Miranda, among others”, he affirmed.

The prohibition of carrying out student caravans in the country, are part of the protection and prevention measures developed by the Bolivarian Government to protect young people who carry out this type of activity when graduating or advancing to the higher grade in their respective educational centers. .
