Civil Protection warns that these conditions could generate flooding, slippery pavement and reduced visibility, so it recommends driving with caution, slowing down and anticipating travel times, especially during work hours and night activities.
Cold alert activated in CDMX
In addition to the rain, the atmosphere will become colder during the night, with a more marked drop in temperature towards the early hours of Saturday, especially in high areas and in the south-west of the city.
For this reason, an Orange Alert is maintained in Tlalpan and a Yellow Alert in the municipalities of Álvaro Obregón, Cuajimalpa, La Magdalena Contreras, Milpa Alta and Xochimilco, where low temperatures are expected during the early morning and early hours of Saturday.
