The agency recommended that residents of Cuajimalpa and high-risk areas evacuate, especially children, the elderly and the disabled, to avoid serious incidents.

Heavy rains causing water currents or significant flooding in streets and avenues, falling trees, branches, tarpaulins and fragile metal structures in some homes.
This Thursday, Civil Protection also issued a Yellow Alert for the municipalities of Coyoacán, Iztapalapa, Magdalena Contreras and Tlalpan due to medium to heavy rains, as well as an Orange Alert for Álvaro Obregón and Miguel Hidalgo due to heavy rains with the risk of significant flooding.
