CDMX Prosecutor’s Office secures black boxes for train crash on Metro Line 3

“Prosecutors and Public Prosecutors of the General Coordination of Territorial Investigation have taken various statements to integrate them into the investigation and continue to collect the necessary testimonials,” the justice agency said in a statement.

The Prosecutor’s Office pointed out that the body of the young Yaretzi, who died in the crash, has already been delivered to her parents. She added that the work plan for the investigation will be made known to the citizens soon.

Until now, neither the Head of Government, Claudia Sheinbaum, nor the General Director of the Metro, Guillermo Calderón, have indicated a cause of the collision between the two trains recorded on the morning of this Saturday, January 7, since they point out that the Prosecutor’s Office is the that should determine what happened.
