Police officers arrested the man who had allegedly been selling the bicycle for three months, which, according to information from police elements, was provided to him by a subject named “Diego Noé.”
When he was arrested in the Tabacalera neighborhood of the Cuauhtémoc mayor’s office, the suspect threatened the SSC elements with a screwdriver and when he was captured by the police, he offered them 20,000 pesos in exchange for letting him go, according to official data.
The alleged perpetrator was identified as Gerardo Raúl, 23 years old. In the arrest, a turquoise blue Ecobici bicycle, a cell phone and the screwdriver were seized.
