CDMX-Pachuca train advances by 9.3 percent: President

Nextlalpan, Mex., During a supervision tour of the Mexico-Pachuca train works, President Claudia Sheinbaum said that in this railway connection to Hidalgo there is already a progress of 9.3 percent even though the Secretariats of Defense and Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation participate in the emergency response tasks. The president stressed that the CDMX-Felipe Ángeles International Airport train finishes its construction this year and the testing period will begin for it to start operations.

The general director of the Railway Transportation Agency, Andrés Lajous, reported that the Mexico-Pachuca train will have a potential demand of 107 thousand passengers per day and will reduce the circulation of private vehicles or buses on our highways. It will connect the metropolitan area of ​​Pachuca with 665 thousand inhabitants with that of the Valley of Mexico, benefiting 15 thousand families in the metropolitan area of ​​Pachuca.
