Intervention on public roads

Raúl Basulto highlighted that as part of the first interventions on public roads, the capital’s Ministry of Works will carry out the executive project and the beginning of the improvement of lighting and safety improvements on the Tlalpan road.

This project will be part of the preparations for the second floor and Floating Causeway of Tlalpan, announced by the head of government, Clara Bugada, which has caused mixed opinions among residents of the mayors: Cuauhtémoc, Benito Juárez and Coyoacán.

“We are going to make safe roads, we want to intervene on the Tlalpan road as one of the first roads that we are going to do because we are going to do a Tlalpan intervention project,” he said.

The government of Mexico City also states that the Next October 16, the “Bachetón” begins which involves a deployment of urban services personnel in the 16 municipalities to generate repaving actions on streets and avenues in Mexico City.

This “Bachetón” will not only focus on primary roads, as is the responsibility of the central government, but there will also be coordination with the 16 municipalities for secondary roads and it is intended to be launched simultaneously.

At the national level, there will also be a “Bachetón” with which the Federation seeks to repair potholes on 44,600 kilometers of federal highways throughout the country, with an investment of 4,000 million pesos.

We have proposed to the head of government that in these first 100 days we can do several projects that mainly show what we are going to do on the road for the next 6 years.
