Some of the people discharged were accompanied by public officials to their homes. At least three of the injured would undergo non-serious surgeries. One in the elbow; another from the hip, and one more from the tibia and fibula, according to authorities.
Guillermo Calderón, director of the Metro, reported that after 5:00 p.m. this Saturday, the work of the personnel of the Mexico City Prosecutor’s Office in the area of the crash concluded.
“At this moment, personnel from the Metro’s fixed installations and rolling stock are already working for the reactivation of the Line 3 service,” he explained.
“The Line 3 service is offered from the University to Tlatelolco, while the Integrated Mobility Network supports different services. We will continue to report, ”he reported.
The head of Government of Mexico City, Claudia Sheinbaum, insisted this afternoon that they will let the Prosecutor’s Office determine what happened on Line 3 of the Metro.
“Let’s see, and in any case, as I have said: the first thing is to attend to the victims. As I said, I met with the parents, with the father and mother of Yaretzi, who is the victim who lost his life, they have the full support of the city government, there are colleagues who are with them, and they all we will give support. First is attention to the victims and justice, ”he said.

Four people who were trapped inside one of the Line 3 Metro cars have already been rescued and are doing well.
In recent years, the Mexico City Metro System has suffered several accidents, the most serious occurred in May 2021, which left 26 dead and more than 60 injured.
