“The right to menstrual health justification is a necessary measure to ensure that all students, regardless of their gender, can access a quality education without their physiological needs interfering with their academic performance,” says the legislator of the Progressive Parliamentary Association of the transformation.

The Secondary dysmenorrhea It is a menstrual pain associated with a disease, condition or alteration, it can occur years after the first menstruation. Among the conditions that can cause it are endometriosis, uterine adenomyosis or myomas and in a less frequent way ovarian cysts, tumors, intrauterine adhesions and intrauterine devices especially copper.
The reform is expected to be voted in the Plenary Session of the capital Congress the next extraordinary period that will begin on August 12.
