The Superior Court of Justice of the City of Buenos Aires (TSJ) allowed the challenge raised by the Buenos Aires Government against Judge Roberto Gallardo and removed him from the case in which alleged irregularities are being investigated in the use of biometric data by those who have access to the fugitive facial recognition system.
In a decision reached by a majority, the highest court of the City of Buenos Aires also upheld the appeal of unconstitutionality raised by the Buenos Aires administration against the ruling with which the judge Gallardo had ordered to suspend the use of the facial recognition system in the area of the City of Buenos Aires, informed judicial sources.
