Catamaran with 55 tourists sinks in Samaná Bay; all were rescued alive

Catamarán con 55 turistas se hunde en la bahía de Samaná; todos fueron rescatados con vida

Samana.– A tourist transport catamaran, identified as Yuma Mouth 1sank this Sunday while carrying 55 passengers from a cruise ship in the waters of Samaná Bay, specifically in the Los Haitises area.

The authorities confirmed that All tourists and crew were rescued alivethanks to the quick action of nearby boats and maritime rescue teams.
