Santo Domingo.- The bishop of La Altagracia, Monsignor Jesús Castro Marte, advocated this Wednesday for the solution of the problems that affect the Dominican people, while urging those who hold public positions to exercise their functions “attached to dignity and transparency.”
In his homily on the occasion of the celebration of Altagracia Day, Castro Marte said that the end must always be “serve the weakest and maintain the fight to reduce poverty.”
“It is important that public management always remembers that its purpose is to seek the common goodserve the weakest of any condition or origin who need state protection. The public servants They are to serve the country, not to seek profit of any kind“said the religious man.

“There are many public order actions that challenge authority, which always end up bringing mourning and shame to our families.. we see traffic accidents, street parties, businesses and services of all kinds no licenses or supervision, criminal activities, robberies, assaults and real estate scams”he added.
