PUERTO PADRE, Cuba.- Reproaching some and applauding othersmuch is being said these days about the Biden administration’s decision to remove Cuba from the list of State sponsors of terrorism, just when in its Country Report on Terrorism, from just a month ago, the Counterterrorism Bureau of the Department of State maintained the Castro-communist regime as a sponsor of terrorists because, for many years and until today – and this without mentioning other facts – it has harbored fugitives from American justice, accused of crimes of socio-political origin or nature, a reason that has led journalists and many others people to ask: Is this order from President Joe Biden legal?
Legally, according to the doctrine of the own actsand without there being incompatibility, inconsistencies or fractures of the principle of good faith between the antecedents and the act that contradict it, contradicting the recent report of the Counterterrorism Bureau of the State Department, President Joe Biden’s order is illicit, therefore voidable.
By exonerating the Cuban regime as violator of American lawsbut also universal, which harm human beings from the physical, psychological, moral point of view and in their civic rights, politically and economically, the exercise of power is encouraged through fear, in this case fear insurmountable, translated as terror, exercised by the powers of the State against the rebellious citizens against the communist public policies that oppress them in destitution.
The precious currency
The prisons, the prisonersIn Cuba, they are not, as in any civilized country, a very serious burden for the nation, but rather a very precious bargaining chip for the totalitarian regime, which it has used and uses according to pretensions and circumstances.
Promoting multimillion-dollar businesses and Pope Francis mediating – how else! -, the Biden administration has removed the sign of supporting terrorists to the regime of nonagenarian General Raúl Castro, who is, in reality, the head of “president” Díaz-Canel and the Communist Party. In exchange, the Castro-communists will “release” half a thousand prisoners administratively, not legally through amnesty or pardon.
Although these people will be in their homes, they will be deprived of all their civil rights, according to the accessory sanctions imposed by the courts, and thus, all those legally sanctioned will continue to be imprisoned although of extrapenal formuntil the last day of their convictions expire… or until one day they are released by amnesty.
The necessary tests
So that there is no shortage of coins in that kind of merchant bank that Cuban prisons remind us of, the political police work 365 days of each year, from 1959 to today, when the first quarter of the 21st century is already passing.
It is no coincidence then that, while on the one hand and in exchange for the sign of sponsoring terrorists we heard the news of the “release” of a group of prisonersOn the other hand, we received the always announced chronicle in Cuba of imprisonments for political reasons, camouflaged as “counterrevolutionary” acts.
This time – like so many other times – They were two young people, Félix Daniel Pérez Ruiz and Cristhian de Jesús Peña Aguilera24 and 22 years old. The first was sentenced to five years in prison for expressing on social networks that he was fed up with the Government, asking to be heard by the world and calling for a demonstration in the Vicente García park, in Las Tunas. The second, Cristhian de Jesús Peña Aguilera, heard the voice of citizen boredom crying out for freedom and took the call for Felix Daniel Perez Ruiz as own. For this reason, he was sentenced to four years in prison for the crime of “propaganda against the constitutional order”, which in any free country constitutes a right of all people, and is stated in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in article 19.
No. Don’t refuse. The Castro-communist totalitarian regime, more than a sponsor of international terrorism, is a power holder of State terrorism against Cubans, from 1959 to the present. This is proven by those shot, imprisoned, exiled, those who flee from Cuba, and those who in Cuba live an eternal mojiganga, applauding until the day they can flee.
