President peter castle He maintained today that the government he leads cannot be distracted by agendas outside the country when it is making the greatest efforts in sectors such as education and that it will always go wherever it is called, alluding to the presidential vacancy debate session scheduled for Monday, May 28. March.
“When we are giving the greatest of our efforts, we cannot be distracted by agendas outside the country, while we are allocating the effort and the budget for education, others respond with other terms on the street”, Castillo pointed out during his speech at the start of classes ceremony for the 2022 School Year at the IEI 527 Niño Jesús de Praga, in the Pachacámac district.
“We cannot waste time in some confrontations, we have come to close the gaps in education, this infrastructure that is an immense debt”, he emphasized.
Minutes later, after inspecting the start of classes at the IEI 197 Niño Jesús de Praga, in the district of Lurigancho Chosica, he addressed the population from his vehicle to question the weekend march, where his resignation was requested.
“Dear neighbors, in this Peru there is much to be done, and those of us who have good will, those of us who come from below, those of us who have eaten dust, those of us who have suffered from hunger, thirst, we know how the country is, but there is a certain sector, a tiny sector, that this money that should be used to give children, [lo utilizan] to make the same citizen shout ‘corrupt, corrupt’”, he stated.

National Agreement
Earlier, Castillo said that education does not have to be a government policy, but a state policy.
In this sense, he announced that he will request to include the education issue in the agenda of the meeting of the National Agreement, scheduled for Saturday, March 26.
“I call on the political forces and institutions, unions, civil society organizations, to address this issue, which is structural. If we don’t educate the population, another destiny will be, we cannot wait for 200 more years of oblivion”, said the president.
