Castillo denounced in Geneva a plan to destabilize Venezuelan democracy

In the framework of the 57th session of the UN Human Rights Council, the Vice Minister of Anti-Blockade Policies William Castillo denounced that the national government has had to face a plan to destabilize it that consists of several stages: the denial of recognition of the CNE, the training of the so-called Comanditos, the post-electoral violence accompanied by the publication of false results.

This is what Antibloqueo Venezuela’s social media reports, where the Vice Minister’s participation in Geneva is summarized, where he also warned about the consequences of the unilateral coercive measures and the electoral process that Venezuela faced in the days before and after July 28.

In this regard, Castillo said that there are three stages. The first was carried out before July 28, with the CNE being ignored by a sector of the opposition. The second was the “preparation of post-electoral violence with ‘los Comanditos’, during July 28 the beginning of the campaign of violence in the electoral centers to destabilize the country and after June 28 the illegal publication of false electoral results.”

The international ignorance of some countries and the development of a violent plan were then cited. All of this happened in the context of cyber and media attacks, he said.

Attacks of all kinds

Vice Minister William Castillo explained part of the destabilization plan, in which the country suffered “a massive cyberattack, with 136 platforms and entities, both public and private, being the target of foreign attacks,” as well as the Government, banks and the electoral system being affected.

In addition, “attacks supported by fascist groups in Venezuela” following the presidential elections led to “75 schools, 50 transport units, 41 health centres and 27 monuments being attacked as part of a fascist plan,” he said.

He added that as part of this plan of aggression against Venezuela, new unilateral sanctions have been imposed against the nation, increasing the Unilateral Coercive Measures (UCM) to 947, which constitutes a new attack on Venezuelan democracy.

“I come to bring you data, facts and information about Venezuela that you will never read in news agencies or on social networks; I come to bring you the truth about Venezuela,” said Castillo, thanking — on behalf of President Nicolás Maduro — the large attendance at the event, according to the portal of the Anti-Blockade Observatory.

Likewise, Castillo denounced the recent coercive measures applied to Venezuela against 16 high-ranking public officials, including six TSJ judges, as well as the theft of a plane in the Dominican Republic. He described these measures and actions as an attempt to maintain destabilizing activities against Venezuelan democracy.

The vice minister warned about the fact that “the United States, which is leading this policy of sanctions and which financed the parties that carry it out, says that Venezuela now has to be punished for the electoral result,” according to international agencies.

It’s not over yet

The Venezuelan official also referred to the recent events that have been revealed by the State security forces, indicating that the situation that Venezuelan democracy is going through is not over yet.

“The fascist plan did not end in the days after the elections. A few hours ago the State seized more than 400 weapons of war that came from the US“, he said.

He explained that a man has been captured active duty military member of the United States Army. In addition, two people related to the intelligence of the Kingdom of Spain and a Czech citizen with links to mercenary groups.

Castillo urged the governments of the world to reflect on the fact that a global confrontation is intended to achieve what they were unable to achieve through electoral processes.
