The President of the Republic, Pedro Castillo, referred to the interview made by the Mexican CNN journalist, Fernando del Rincón, on the morning of this Monday, January 23. In this regard, the head of state pointed out that he “was surprised” with the questions that Del Rincón asked him at the Government Palace.
“This morning, I had an interview. Okay, More than an interview, I have been surprised by some questions that I was asked that have nothing important for the country. They asked me about Bruno Pacheco, what Sarratea, when we have those things very clear. We have not come here to steal from the country. We have come to contribute to the country,” said President Pedro Castillo at the artisanal fishermen dock in Chorrillos.
It is worth mentioning that this is the first international interview given by Pedro Castillo after being sworn in as president on July 28. In this sense, the CNN network announced the broadcast of said meeting between Castillo and Fernando del Rincón for this Monday, January 24 at 10:00 pm in the Conclusions program directed by the journalist.
“Things that are investigations, we are going to open the doors wherever they are so that investigations can be carried out at any time,” added Castillo.
