Dr. Fernando Castañeda, medical director of Amoacss, spoke of his aspirations to be director of the Social Security Fund and assured that with honesty it is possible to recover the entity and as a worker he knows how to attack problems.
According to Castañeda, he has the vision of returning to the solidarity system, with a human vision. “It is not just about knowing numbers,” he said, assuring that he will reduce the surgical delay and guarantee the medicines on time.
For Dr. Castañeda, President José Raúl Mulino should not give in to pressure and avoid appointing a person from the private sector to head the CSS because he believes that this would end up destroying the institution.
