Casino Directorate begins to close illegal banks

The Directorate of Casinos and Games of Chance of the Ministry of Finance began the process of definitive closure of a group of betting banks that are not registered and did not join the regularization plan for that sector.

The director of this entity, Teófilo -Quico- Tabar, addressed a communication to the National Federation of benches Lottery (Fenabanca) informing you about the process that the Directorate of Casinos undertakes after having delivered the updated list of pewspoints of sale and/or registered agencies.

“In coordination with the Public Ministry, we are initiating the process of definitive closure of banks, starting with those that are operating without being registered and that resisted the regularization process, for which we request the determined support of that association”, rHere is the letter.

On August 22, with preliminary data on the pews registered and who made their declarations in the regularization plan, the Directorate of Casinos ordered the seizure and closure of those gambling businesses that had not entered the process. On that occasion, he asked for help from the sectors involved to identify the pews illegal.

The list of pews that were registered within the period offered by the authorities is published on the website of the Directorate of Casinos and Games of Chance www.casino.gob.do, “they are classified by provinces and municipalities”.
