Caixa Econômica Federal pays on Monday (28) the July installment of Bolsa Familia to beneficiaries with social registration number (NIS) of final 7.
The minimum benefit amount corresponds to R $ 600, but with the new additional, average amount rises to R $ 671.52. According to the Ministry of Development and Social Assistance, this month the Federal Government’s Income Transfer Program will reach 19.6 million families, with expense of R $ 13.16 billion.
In addition to the minimum benefit, there is a payment of three additional. The Nutriz Family Variable Benefit pays six installments of R $ 50 to mothers of babies up to 6 months of age, to ensure the child’s diet. Bolsa Família also pays an increase of $ 50 to pregnant women and nursing people (breastfeeding mothers), one of $ 50 for each child aged 7 to 18 and another, from $ 150, for each child up to 6 years.
In the traditional model of Bolsa Familia, payment occurs in the last ten business days of each month. The beneficiary can consult information about payment dates, the benefit amount and the composition of the installments in the Caixa application application, used to track the bank’s digital savings accounts.
The beneficiaries of 516 cities received payment on the 18th, regardless of NIS. They benefited residents of the 497 municipalities of Rio Grande do Sul and some cities in five states: six from Alagoas, three from Amazonas, three from Paraná, six from Roraima and one from São Paulo, resident in Diadema.
These locations have been affected by rain or drought or have indigenous peoples in vulnerable situations.
Since last year, Bolsa Familia beneficiaries have no longer have the discount of the defense insurance. The change was established by Law 14.601/2023which rescued the Bolsa Familia (PBF) program. Defense insurance is paid to people who survive exclusively from artisanal fishing and cannot perform the activity during the piracema period (fish reproduction).
Protection rule
About 2.68 million families are in the protection rule in July. In force since June 2023, the rule allows families whose members get employment and improve income receive 50% of the benefit they would be entitled to up to two years, provided that each member receives the equivalent of up to half a minimum wage.
In June, the length of stay in the protection rule was reduced from two to a year. However, the change only covers families who have entered the transition phase since last month. Those who fit the rule by May this year will continue to receive half the benefit for two years.
Gas
This month there will be no payment of Gas Aid, which benefits families registered in CadÚnico. As the benefit is only paid every two months, payment will return in August.
It can only receive gas assistance those who are included in the cadunic and have at least one family member who receives the continued benefit (BPC) benefit. The law that created the program has defined that the woman responsible for the family will preference, as well as those who are victims of domestic violence.
