The national deputy of the Frente de Todos por Entre Ríos, Marcelo Casaretto, argued this Thursday that “the action of the Supreme Court” regarding the ruling for the co-participation corresponding to the city of Buenos Aires “was against the National Constitution.” and assured that if the Buenos Aires head of government, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, decides to use that money, “there will be no more funds for housing.”
“The action of the Court went against what the Constitution provides. He decided to give more funds to the City of Buenos Aires,” the pro-government legislator remarked in statements to El Destape Radio, referring to one of the files being processed by the Political Trial Committee of Deputies.
For Casaretto, “if Larreta says those funds are mine, there will be no more funds for housing and they will be for the largest district in Argentina, in terms of resources”.
“What really matters in this case It is the decision of the Supreme Court to take the funds that correspond to all Argentines “he remarked.
In this sense, he recalled that “It was a decree from (former President Mauricio) Macri in which he grabbed the money” and that “the Court says that Macri’s (decree) is valid and that of (the current president) Alberto Fernández is not.”
