The mayor of the National District, Carolina Mejía, reported this Friday that she filed a formal complaint for the use of her name and image in digital advertising for fraudulent purposes.
“It is sad that unscrupulous people lend themselves to this type of act and we hope that the investigations will identify those responsible and that all legal sanctions will be applied to them,” he wrote, while indicating that he will be taking the complaint “to the ultimate consequences.”
The official said she went to the National District Attorney’s Office and the Cyber Police to file the complaint.
The municipal councillor assured that she will take this complaint to its ultimate consequences.
