For the first time, the Pasto Black and White Carnivalrecognized as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanityarrives in Bogotá in a celebration that combines music, art and tradition.
This November 30, the center of the capital will be transformed into a stage to enjoy one of the most emblematic festivals in the country.

Organized by the Gilberto Alzate Avendaño Foundation (FUGA), in alliance with the Pasto Mayor’s Office, Corpocarnaval and CityUthe event will be free to enter and seeks to bring together Bogota residents and visitors to experience the magic of this carnival.
Starting at noon, troupes, murgas and costumes will parade through the streets of La Candelariarecreating the essence of the Pastusa culture.
“The idea is to take a tour of the center that will end at CityU, we estimate that the tour will end around 2 in the afternoon where We are going to share with more than eight groups that come directly from Pasto with Pericles Carnival and with the 2024 Carnival Festival so that we can enjoy this festival,” highlighted Blanca Andrea Sánchez, director of FUGA.
The tour will begin at the National School of Commerce and will pass through iconic points such as the Church of the Egypt neighborhood and FUGA, until reaching the CityU square, where a great party will be held with concerts, gastronomy and a business fair organized in collaboration with Hecho en Bogotá.
