The mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez said that in this year more than 3 thousand community projects will be solving the priority problems of the communities, thanks to the policy undertaken by President Nicolás Maduro Moros, to govern with the people.
In this regard, he explained that Caracas has 298 communal circuits and 568 projects for each popular consultation, such as April 27. Therefore, he explained whether in the course of 2025 the 6 consultations of the people are met, as planned, some 3 thousand 408 community proposals or projects would be counted at the end of this year.
He recalled that “at the national level they are 5,338 communal circuits, each with 7 projects, of which, one is for the 7 transformations, where the people decide what their priority in their territories and all the governors, mayors have to support the one that is second in this national consultation, as instructed by the head of state Nicolás Maduro Mooros.”
Within the framework of the commemorative acts of the 215th anniversary of the cry of freedom, in honor of April 19, 1810, the high official recalled that this April 27 we will have a day with the people, it is the second national consultation of this year.
When referring exclusively to Caracas, the mayor indicated that in the capital city there are 299 communes/ communal circuits multiplied by two, there would be 598 projects that the communal power of Caracas is carrying solutions in their respective territories.
He reiterated that «there are 598 projects for consultations; However, if 4 consultations are made, more than 2,000 projects would be, but they are 6 consultations, as planned, by incorporating one for culture and another for youth, it would be more than three thousand projects that this year 2025 would be providing solutions to priority problems in the city ».
He also pointed out that with this governance next to the people and the communities promoted by President Nicolás Maduro would be fulfilling the dream of Commander Chávez, since together and together we are heading for prosperity and the construction of the homeland we deserve. “Next to the people, the new government will be realized, the new methodology of governing with the people,” he emphasized.
Finally, he pointed out that each of the people who have public positions must be on the side of the people, while insisted on affirming “we have a government that obeys the people and together we will build the beautiful, prosperous, free and sovereign Venezuela, which today becomes an example and world reference.”
