“The peace of all Venezuelans is strengthened with the union of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces, the Militia and the Popular Power. Let nothing take away our happiness this Christmas and at the end of the year. We work so that these celebrations are lived as a family, with prosperity and harmony,” said the mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, during the delivery of toys in the Sucre parish.
At the event, Meléndez highlighted that the day is part of the Christmas celebrations and that toys sent by President Nicolás Maduro were distributed in all the parishes of Caracas. In addition, food delivery and the traditional hallaquero combo were deployed, an operation that has been active for four weeks.
More than 1,500 boys and girls from the Sucre parish participated in recreational activities and received gifts in spaces equipped with 15 inflatable mattresses. The programming included entertainment dynamics that reinforced the atmosphere of community integration and family enjoyment.
The day was attended by national authorities, including the Minister of Popular Power for Public Works, Juan José Ramírez; the Minister for Youth, Sergio Lottartaro; and the Minister of Popular Power of National Commerce, Luis Villegas, who accompanied the deployment.
