The mayor reelected by the Libertador municipality, on July 27, Carmen Meléndez, is sworn before the town of Caracas for the 2025-2029 period, in which she reaffirms her vigor to work together with the communities “solving the problems and complying with the plan of the 7 transformations and that I will not rest until the last commitment is fulfilled,” he said.
From the Plaza Bolívar of the capital city, Meléndez swore for the “God of my parents, for our eternal commander Chávez and the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, helmsman of Venezuela, for our people and social movements” and stressed that this act consolidated to “attend to the glorious people of Caracas.”
He stressed that the triumph of July 27 is from the town: “And today I have sworn in, and it is not Carmen Meléndez alone, today I have sworn with the people of Caracas”, which together with the Caracas people go to the new transformations, accompanied by the guidelines of the national government, which urges that “change everything that has to be changed”, from the premise of “zero desk, more territory.”
Mélendez said he was sure “that with the people of Caracas, with the new governance method, we are going to transform and do more for our beloved capital, Caracas, and that we will continue to transform it to be one of the best cities in the world.”
