By taking as a reference to José Gregorio Hernández as a unity factor, in these historical moments, Mayor Meléndez confirms that the Caracas, Caracas and Venezuelans in general “will always be in national mobilization, attentive and alert to anyone who tries to sink the sacred ground of our homeland.”
“We must be proud that we are going to have the first saints in Venezuela and that we, in this unit, in faith, in love, hope, here is an always mobilized people and that they respect that day; it is a holiday for all Venezuelans and Venezuelans, a religious holiday, solidarity,” he said during his participation in the streets of Francisco de Miranda avenue to the headquarters of the UN. “Every Venezuela is deployed in the defense of peace, we are a people of peace, and we are a town that we are always mobilized before any threat. We always go out,” Meléndez reiterated.
In addition, he urges those who want to assault Venezuelans to understand that Venezuela defends peace and homeland and guarantees that “we, always mobilized, defending peace, we are capable of everything!”
