The mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, informed that in the capital city “300 electoral centers” are enabled for the popular consultation to be held this Sunday, February 2.
Through a video hung on his Instagram account, Meléndez said “here in Caracas we will have 300 electoral centers where we are going to participate all the Caracas and Caracas.”
The mayor invited the Caracas “to participate on Sunday in this popular consultation in your territory, in your commune, in your parish. We are all going to mobilize for this great electoral party of national consultation, to decide which project is the one that selects to continue in construction in the territory, so all guests, that no one stays on the outside ”.
“Be part of the history of what we are living in our homeland Venezuela. All on Sunday, February 2 to go to the Electoral Center, ”he exclaimed.
More than 5,000 communes and communal circuits will participate in the first major national popular consultation of the year “we will all choose our projects, and the activated communal circuits,” the first Caracas authority authorized through his account on the social network.
“It will be another historical day, with which we will continue transforming each territory. Your vote is very important for the present and future of your community, ”Meléndez said.
The popular consultation of the coming February 2 has become a step towards a more participatory and supportive future, promoted by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Madur, where popular power becomes the protagonist of the transformation of the country.
