Carlos ProsperiDemocratic Action (AD) candidate in resistance, formalized his registration with the National Primary Commission (CP) on the afternoon of this Friday, June 23.
The leader stressed: “After more than 25 years that AD did not have a presidential candidate, today we are officially registered in the primaries.”
Prosperi, like other opposition candidates registered during the day this Friday, called for unity and asked to activate in favor of the October 22 process.
“We ratify that if for some reason our formula is not elected in the primaries, we will be one more soldier of this cause called Venezuela,” said the candidate.
However, the standard-bearer pointed out: «I am going to be the unitary candidate and I invite you to join this crusade. We did not go out to participate, we went out to win the primaries. We have not gone out to participate, we have gone out to win the primaries.
Likewise, the Adeco leader pointed out that “the enemy of Venezuela are those who have been in Miraflores for 24 years.” At the same time, he reiterated his commitment to the reinstitutionalization of public powers.
Just as it happened with María Corina Machado (Vente Venezuela), Prosperi’s registration was accompanied by a march of her followers.

On Wednesday, June 21, Carlos Prosperi denounced the attempt by the National Primary Commission to extend the applications for the October elections and benefit political parties. On Thursday, June 22, after meeting, the CP decided to extend the application period, which expired this Friday, June 23, to Saturday, June 24.
